Castle Vale FC won their 2nd Round Birmingham Midweek Challenge Cup tie at Lye Town against Dudley F.C. by a convincing 5-1 margin last night (Tuesday 20th). Dudley, currently in fifth position in the West Midlands Premier League, were runners-up in this competition last year. Vale won the Cup in the 2004/5 season.
