Birmingham Council officials are urging people to check their hot water systems and thermostats, following the death of a toddler by scalding from a faulty domestic hot water system in Somerset recently.
Warning signs include:-
Excessively hot water coming out of the hot water taps;
Excessive noise or ‘bubbling’ from the hot water cylinder;

Heavy freight vehicles could use canals in Birmingham instead of roads, according to a study set to be completed by Spring 2008.
