Citizens Advice Bureau petitions gathering momentum

Councillor Lynda Clinton is receiving ‘pages of names’ of people signing the petition against the closure of Castle Vale’s Citizen’s Advice Bureau, formerly based at the Sanctuary. The office closed for Christmas, and failed to re-open in the new year. The CAB maintain that there is insufficient demand in the area to justify keeping the Vale branch open, and that Vale is well served by a number of alternative agencies.
Petitions are currently based at The Sanctuary, at Spitfire House, and at CVCHA’s offices in Castle Vale High Street.
