Celebs gather in Broad Street for Sport Relief Sainsbury’s Mile

Denise Lewis, Rustie Lee, Kelly Sotherton, Karen Brady, Steve Bull and Matt Kennard are amongst the celebrities involved in Birmingham’s Sainsbury’s Mile Run in aid of Sport Relief this Sunday 16th March. 23 places in the country will be hosting the ‘flagship mile’.The nearest venue for Castle Vale is Centenary Square, Broad Street, Birmingham. There is also a flagship mile at Solihull College in Blossomfield Road, Solihull. The Broad Street mile event is at lunchtime (1.45pm warm-up).

There are three distances for runners: one mile, three miles and six miles.
The whole of Broad Street will be closed to traffic between 9 am and 6.30pm on Sunday.
