Labour had a poor set of election results in Birmingham on May 1st, losing ground to the Conservatives, and falling to a level only slightly ahead of the Liberal Democrats. Ann Holtom (Liberal Democrat ) held her seat as Councillor for Tyburn Ward yesterday at the Birmingham Council elections. She had a majority of 508 over Des Hughes (Labour) who came second.
