JKS youngsters get the big stadium treatment
The Council has agreed to delay the ‘treatment’ of the Vale soccer pitch for three days to allow the unbeaten JKS Under 13 team to play their final match of the season on Sunday morning. The match was under threat because the Council had removed the goalposts from the Farnborough Road pitches, including theĀ the Under 13s usual pitch, but following complaints and concerns from many people, they have agreed to let one pitch - the main stadium pitch - remain untouched until after the final game.
JKS Director Graham Crocker said: “The youngsters are really pleased. Not only can they have a go at completing a whole season unbeaten, but for this last match, they can play on the best pitch in the area. They’re cock-a-hoop.”

Well done to everyone concerned. It is good that common sense has prevailed.
Thank you Mr. Editor for all the information we get on this site. It is the first site we visit each day and/or whenever we turn our computer on! At this rate we have a Vale Mail daily - many thanks!
