Next week (19-23rd May) is Noise Action Week. Birmingham Council’s Environmental Health Officers will be manning a stall outside Marks and Spencers in the High Street, listening to complaints and giving advice about noisy neighbours, noisy construction sites, barking dogs and other nuisances.

It coincides with ‘Walk to school week.’ So if the kids complain when you refuse to give them a lift, tell them to do it quietly.
