The TRA are running a free Construction Skills Training Day at Spitfire House in partnership with Merlin Venture, which will cover Electrics, Plumbing, and Painting & Decorating, on Friday 26th June.
There is also an extensive programme of training courses, in careers ranging from childcare, hairdressing, first aid, web design, and many more.
Both the taster programme and the training day are free-of-charge, and all unemployed residents (which includes anyone on Disability Living Allowance or Incapacity Benefit) have to do to register is to contact the TRA on 0121 747 5932.

Sounds brilliant!
Two local companies joining up to help residents who really need and want jobs/training.
I have seen pictures of Merlins training centre in the Merlin Newsletter and it looks great! Brilliant opportunity!
