The Filton Croft clean-up team
Castle Vale Community Environmental Trust, CVCHA and Topcliffe and St Gerard’s Junior Schools joined forces to carry out a much needed clean up and planting project at Filton Croft. Birmingham City Council donated plants for the scheme that was run over two days. Topcliffe School children carried out the planting on the first day and St Gerard’s school finished it off by spreading a rough bark top dressing on the second.

This was a great project to be involved in. The community really pulled together to improve an area that has long been neglected. A massive thank you goes to all the CVCHA staff for organizing it and all the hard work they did over the week to make the improvements, also a big thank you has to go the children that got involved over the two days!x
