Vale man sentenced for assault on police officer

Paul Aaron Foster, aged 20, of Broadmoor Walk, Castle Vale, was given a five month prison sentence today by Sutton Coldfield magistrates for assaulting a  police officer. Foster had pleaded guilty to the offence. The court heard that he had kicked out at P C O’Hagan, injuring the officer’s  jaw, while he was resisting arrest in Castle Vale High Street during an incident on 29th May earlier this year.
