Smyths Toy Superstore opened in the Vale shopping precinct today. Stacked high with toys, computers and games, nursery and children’s equipment, hobbies and past-times, it may be a sign of optimism in a recession-hit region, or an indication that kids’ toys sell in any financial climate.
