Free food will be served up in Centre Park this Wedensday for youngsters on half term. It’s a barbecue, from 3-5pm, organised by local police, youth workers and wardens, who will be supervising sports activities around the park. The Met Office is predicting sunny weather, and temperatures of 18 degrees for the day, the warmest of the week.

The actual weather will most prob be gale force winds, torrential rain, a heavy frost with ten foot of snow and -10!

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:
Unseasonably mild, dry and predominantly fair throughout. Rather cloudy at times, but feeling pleasantly warm when the sun’s out.
