Glad rags at the ready for Prom night

Castle Vale will be festooned with smartly dressed 16-year-olds tomorrow evening. It’s the Year11 Prom at the Jaguar Club, as the senior students celebrate the end of their careers at Castle Vale School,  GCSE exams having finished a couple of weeks ago.

St Gerard’s going ‘from strength to strength’ - Ofsted

Ofsted (The Government education watchdog), has described St Gerard’s as a ‘good school’ with ‘many outstanding features’ in a report published this week following an inspection in May. Goodbye to 103 years of expertise

Dr Coles from the Eden Court Medical Practice retires this summer  after 34 years improving people’s health. And after 32 years of helping children to learn, Shirley Harris will retire from St Gerard’s School in July.
Both are mere novices compared to teacher Mary Quinn, who retires from St Gerard’s after 37 years at the same school.
