£32k to Sion Simon for serving as MP


Sion Simon, who resigned from his post as MP for Erdington before the General Election in May, has been offered a lump sum of £32,383.00 as a resettlement grant. All MPs who resigned or lost their seat are entitled to a sum of money from Parliament, depending on how long they served. They also get a pension for life.
