Police release image of Erdington gold-chain thief

A CCTV image of a man has been released following a robbery in Erdington where a woman had a chain pulled from her neck.
North Birmingham police are investigating the robbery which occurred on Wednesday 20 October inside Lifestyle Express Wine Merchants shop in Marsh Lane, Erdington. A man walked into the shop around 10:15am and engaged the shop assistant in conversation before he pulled a gold chain from around her neck and made off down Marsh Lane towards Edgeware Road.
The female victim aged 51 was extremely shaken and received some pain and discomfort to her neck.
The offender is described as black male, aged 20 to 25 years-old, slim build and around 6ft tall. He was wearing a light grey Adidas tracksuit with white lines on the arms and legs with a hooded top which he wore up.
