From Wembley to Switch Radio

Birmingham’s Lord Mayor, Len Gregory, was at Wembley yesterday to witness Birmingham City’s historic Carling Cup success. Straight after the game he said: “”I offer my warmest congratulations to everyone at the Blues; our City is proud of you and I am sure your efforts will be an inspiration to young people across Birmingham to become our next generation of sporting heroes.”
This Wednesday, the Lord Mayor will be in Castle Vale at the Switch Radio studios, where he will be promoting a health event at Star City on 2nd April.
The event is called The Blood Pressure Challenge, organised by The Stroke Association, where they will be trying to set a world record in the number of people having their blood pressure checked in a given time.
