Millie wins the show, Myles wins a bride

Jak Tuite presents Millie Langton with her CVGT trophy

A packed audience was treated to an evening of song and dance, and a live marriage proposal at Castle Vale School tonight.
Millie Langton won Castle Vale’s Got Talent 2011 with her rendition of the song Danny Boy.
Tezlin Newell Harding was runner-up for the third successive year. Liam Tustin took third place.
Heart FM breakfast presenter Ed James, one of the four judges, said that picking the winner was the hardest thing he had ever done. Last year’s winner, Jak Tuite, presented Millie with her trophy.
Year 11 student Myles Bracey stunned the audience when he proposed to his girlfriend immediately after his band’s performance in the competition. Myles went to the front of the stage, held his microphone to his mouth with one hand, and took out a wedding ring box from his pocket with another, and popped the question to Melissa, before bounding across the audience to embrace his new fiancee.
