Nine-and-a-half years for Birmingham drug dealer

A BIRMINGHAM drug dealer who was arrested in Sutton Coldfield is starting a nine-and-a-half year sentence today after being found guilty of drugs offences at Birmingham Crown Court. Atiq Ahmed, 32,from Bordesley Green, was found guilty of possessing heroin, crack cocaine and cannabis with intent to supply.
During the arrest Ahmed attempted to discard 120 wraps of cocaine.Police also recovered £7,100, which has been subject to a court forfeiture.
Det Insp Paul Clarke said: “The drugs that this man was supplying would have brought misery to many people, so the result is extremely good news.Drug dealing not only causes anti-social behaviour, but also results in addicts committing crime locally to feed their drug habits.”

    thats ok using the race card! but i see it myself every day, im sure the police get paid off to keep a blind eye, how can young men of 19/20 afford £60,000 Range Rovers when they dont work?
