Resident Board Member – two vacancies

Elections for Castle Vale’s Neighbourhood Partnership Board (NPB) take place in August. There are two vacancies, and nominations close on Monday 4th July.
The NPB has a major say in the running of the estate, and checking that local services are up to standard.
Ruth Miller, NPB Manager says: “Resident Board members serve for 3 years and would be expected to commit to 6 – 8 hours per month. The Board meet on a quarterly basis. Board Members are not paid although out of pocket expenses will be paid. If you live in Castle Vale and are aged 18 or over then you can stand for election. You will get the chance to learn new skills, work as part of a team and really have an impact in the estate you live on.”

    Just a reminder that the nominations need to be sent in to the Neighbourhood Partnership Project Officer by Monday 4th July 2011. They can be sent it via email, post or handed in the the CVCHA reception. If you would like further information do not hestitate to give us a call!!
