Police release pictures of ‘hit and run’ car



Police have released photographs of the car they believe was involved in the hit and run case in which a 24 year-old man, Adam Collard from Solihull, was killed on Tuesday 30th August. Police believe that he was hit by the silver coloured Passat just after he had got out of a taxi at 1.15am, in Sheaf Lane, Sheldon near to the junction with Horse Shoes Lane. The vehicle was later found abandoned in Wolsley Close, Smiths Wood.

The car has damage to the front and rear, and has a distinctive logo across the boot.
Anyone with information is urged to ring 0345 113 5000 and ask to speak to officers attached to the Collision Investigation Unit.
