Vale school pupils stage ‘peaceful protest’

Pupils at Castle Vale School have today staged a ‘peaceful protest’ about school management decisions that they do not agree with.
A group of Year 11 pupils have written to Tyburn Mail to say that they are concerned about staffing changes that will reduce the number of deputy headteachers at the school.
They are also unhappy with changes to their English GCSE course. They claim that pupils from all year groups, including around 70% of Year 11 pupils joined the protest.
Members of the School’s teaching staff have confirmed that a protest took place.
