Police appeal to trace woman for clothes, headphones and petrol thefts

Police have issued a CCTV image of a woman suspected of a number of offences in the city. The CCTV shows a woman filling up a car at a petrol station at Six Ways, Gravely Hill in Erdington on 18 January, shortly before she made off without paying. Police also suspect that she stole five sets of headphones valued at around £500 from HMV at the Fort Retail Park on 9 and 13 January. Officers also suspect that she stole five coats worth £1,750 from Go Outdoors at the Ravenside Retail Park in Erdington on 18 January. On both of these occasions it is believed that the woman responsible was driving a blue Ford Fiesta.
Anyone who recognises the woman or knows anything about any of the incidents is asked to contact police in Sutton Coldfield on the non-emergency 101 number or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
