Crime pays….. for young Castle Vale filmmakers

Criminals have helped young people in Castle Vale on their way to making a film about anti-social behaviour… even though they had no intention of doing so.
Police have given the youngsters from the Sanctuary Youth Club a grant of £3,480 to help them with their project.
All of the money has come from the proceeds of crime, and has been handed over by the police to help the youngsters make a film that will explore issues such as anti-social behaviour and its impact on local communities.
The finished film will premiere in schools and youth projects across north Birmingham.
