Body of 19 year-old found under M6 flyover

The body a 19 year-old student from Kingstanding has been found in the early hours of Saturday morning (7th April) on land near to the Hurricane Park Industrial Estate, Heartlands Parkway, Erdington.
Thomas Healy was last seen walking along the elevated section of the hard shoulder of the northbound M6 between junctions 5 and 6 around 7am. Police believe that he had been travelling in a minibus on the M6 with friends on his way into Birmingham for a night out. The minibus stopped on the hard shoulder and Thomas got out of the vehicle at around 11.45pm. His body was found later that day.
Assistant Inspector Tex Bate from Birmingham North Police said: “We would like to hear from any drivers using the motorway who may have seen Thomas after he left the minibus on the M6 in the early hours up until his body was found later that day.”
