Magistrates deal with Vale drunk drivers


Two Castle Vale men, aged 55 and 34 have appeared before Birmingham Magistrates this week for separate incidents, both charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.
The 55 year-old drove a vehicle in Erdington on 12th May with 60 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. He has been bailed to appear before magistrates in July.
The 34 year-old was driving in Pype Hayes on 13th May with 68 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. He pleaded guilty and has been ordered to pay £560 in fines and costs, and has been banned from driving for 18 months.
